A total of 150 participants arrived just in time for the seminar workshop which lasted the whole day. The workshop culminated with the screening interview and exam. Because of IETI’s CEET course which integrates mechatronics or PLC/Pneumatics technology, IETI students faired well in the said event. After the event, the Malaysian visitors were welcomed by the IETI top officials during their luncheon meeting. Now IETI has an official MOA with MIT Academy which will pave the way for IETI students to have an opportunity to study while earning in Malaysia and Autralia.

M.I.T. formerly known as Cosmopolitan Business Agencies Sdn Bhd (CBA), established since 1976, was conducting training programs both Public and In-house. M.I.T. is now venturing into an advanced technical training institution in the field of engineering specializing in mechatronics and mechanical engineering (tool & die maker), in addition to training programs. (In-House)

MIT Academy Sdn. Bhd. is a Technical Institution in Malaysia which has had many years of experience in the Apprenticeship Program. We are now offering opportunities for your students’ education and career advancement in the Learn and Earn Apprenticeship Program in Malaysia and then Australia. This Apprenticeship Program is similar to the German Dual System where the students work and study while obtaining their further education.

WHILE IETI MARIKINA COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BAGS THE IST PLACE IN THE MOST COVETED CHEERDANCE CONTEST

Eight Cheerdance Contest teams and a host of student participants, wearing proudly their color coded uniforms each with a different theme, and, guided by each IETI school campus’ officials, each teams’ muses and escorts paraded during the Opening Ceremony of the 4th IETI Sportsfest held on a sunny Friday last April 24 at the Marikina Sport Complex.Wowing the crowds were the team for each sports category representing IETI campuses from Pasay, Makati, Caloocan, Alabang, Cainta, Marikina, Biñan, Las Piñas, Imus, Lagro, Calamba and San Pedro. The games include volley ball, track and field, chess, dart, buzzer beater, three points shoot out, and a host of parlor games such as sack race and tug-of-war.

In his opening remarks, IETI Chairman Dr. Cesar S. Ochoa welcomed the activity as an appropriate venue to strengthen bonding through friendship in sports. He stressed that friendship, as an institutional value being promoted would bring in camaraderie and closeness in the community.

The executive Vice President, Ma. Angelique O. Arceo centered her opening talk on the promotion of sound mind and sound body, being the goal of the activity enabling everybody to be in good shape and in good health thereby producing a healthy family life. He espoused that through sports the body is conditioned to do hard work which will then result to a productive life.

The event started with a heated competition among the cheerdance participants. As the sun continues to rise so as the blood pressure not only of the participants but the crowd as well. It was the prowess and well thought steps that carried IETI College of Science and Technology Marikina’s team to championship while IETI College Alabang and IETI Makati coming in second and third respectively. Cheerdance contest was followed by an equally crowd drawing muse, in their summer inspired sports wear attire, pageant. After a grueling day of sports competition under the scourging heat of the summer temperature, IETI Alabang emerged as having the most number of medals thus resulting to eardrum tearing screams from their teammates and school mates during the awarding ceremony.
